ITINERARY
Morning trip Or Afternoon trip:

Kayaking starts in the village of Ban Soun Luoang, about 1 hour drive south of Luang Prabang. You will receive basic kayak instructions and practice with our experienced guides before heading down the river. As we stop visit hill tribe village the first break is at the Tad Sae Waterfall: Its limestone cascades with florescent turquoise pools between the trees offer a stunning sight.

After a Lao-style picnic lunch and a swim at Tad Sae waterfall, you continue paddling through beautiful landscape until reaching the tomb of 19th century French explorer Henri Mouhot. The natural scientist who the first European to rediscover Angkor Wat and to travel all the way to Luang Prabang

A last (optional) stop on the way back to Luang Prabang is at the traditional weaving village of Ban Phanom.You continue to paddle to Khoua Mai ( New Bridge), where a pick-up awaits the group for transport back to the City Centre.

Remark: For those who prefer a gentle and easy river to be able to watch and relax, a trip on the Nam Khan River is the answer. Besides enjoying the views of rural life on the riverbanks, you stop at three famed sites in the outskirts of Luang Prabang.
