Pick up from your hotel or guesthouse; then a 1 hour drive into the hills, southwest of Luang Prabang. |

Uphill drive passing banana and pineapple plantations. Stop by an ethnic hilltribe village along the road where the trek starts with a visit to the Khmu village of Ban Long-lao Nung. Close by lies the Hmong village Ban Long-lao Song. |
