Pick you up at hotel and transfer by van on the 13 road down to the south 2 hours

Arrive at Ban Nam Ming (where we start kayaking) with kayak training by an experienced instructor. The Nam Ming River makes its way through a steep sided forested valley. Its riverbanks are covered with a forest canopy, often consisting of old growth trees--the ideal habitat for a wide variety of birds. There are some fun rapids before the Nam Ming feeds into the Nam Khan River. |

Continue kayaking down the Nam Khan again, it is a medium-sized river, because it is collection of other small rivers. |

Continues kayaking on the Nam Khan where along this stretch we are likely to encounter local villagers tending to their vegetable gardens along the riverbanks. |

Arrive at the one of two beautiful waterfalls near Luang Prabang. This one is called “ Tad Sae’’ where minerals in the water gives it an aquarmarine color. Here you can go swimming in any number of large cascading pools, ‘go monkey jumping’ or just relax amongst the tranquil natural environment. There is a restaurant where we will have lunch.

After lunch and a swim at the Tad Sae, you continue your paddle for 2 hours more to our All Lao Elephant Camp |

Transfer by van back to Luang Prabang or to your hotel. |
