Introduction to mountain-biking by experienced instructor |

Start biking to the old temple of Wat Phone Phao, then to Ban Pha-Nom, a famous a handicraft village near Luang Prabang where jars and lamps are made. We will also visit the French explorer, Henry Mohout’s gravesite. He was the first ‘westerner’ attributed with ‘rediscovering’ Angkor and the Khmer Empire. He died of malaria in 18 |

Arrive at our All Lao Elephant Camp where you will meet and greet your elephant (‘xang’ means ‘elephant’) with a ‘sabaidee’. Commence your approximately 1.5 hour trek with the opportunity to feed it bananas (a good photo opp). We serve a picnic lunch at a viewpoint. |

We continue trail cycling to an ethnic ‘Khamu’ village that you will home-stay with for the night. |

Enjoy the khamu village children’s activities and learn more about their traditional minority culture. |

After breakfast, continue mountain biking 1 hour to the Nam Khan River where we will cross by boat to our launching point for kayaking or bamboo rafting. Observe scenic country life along the riverbanks. |

Continue kayaking or bamboo rafting with a lunch rest-stop along the Nam Khan River, continuing back to All Lao Elephant Camp. |
| 15:00 |
Van or songthaew transfer back to your hotel or to our office on main-street Luang Prabang. |
