| Day 1 : Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave – Kuang Si Waterfall |

Pick up at the hotel or meet at our LP office. Transfer to the boatlanding where you board the boat upstream on the Mekong River, providing a beautiful riverview of the tranquil Lao countryside. |

We arrive at Ban (means ‘village’) Xang-Hai, where local rice whisky or ‘lao-lao’ is produced. |
| 10:30 |
We arrive at the mysterious Pak Ou or Tam Thing Cave, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Explore the caves for nearly an hour before returning back to Luang Prabang. |

Arrive back at Luang Prabang and have a one hour break before departing to Kaung Si Waterfall. |

We transfer by minivan on a scenic road surrounded by steep hills and terraced rice fields to Kaung Si. |

Arrive at Kuang Si Where we will have a ‘pack lunch’ (you select from a choice of sandwiches or friend rice dishes in advance). You will have several hours here where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in multiple tiered turquoise pools and/or take a walk along the forest trails where you can visit the Bear Rescue Center. |

We depart Kaung Si returning to Luang Prabang but we visit Ban Na Ouan, a ‘hmong’ ethnic village en route. |
| 17:30 |
We arrive back in LP where we transfer to a minivan to continue to Ban Noon-Savath where you will overnight at our Mahout Eco Lodge right at the banks of the Nam Khan River. A Lao dinner is served at our Mahout Lodge Restaurant with free time to roam and explore this picturesque area. |

| Day 2 : Elephant Bathing + Elephant Trekking + Kayaking. |

Retrieve your elephant from our All Lao Elephant Camp to bathe it in the Nam Khan River. |
| 08:00 |
Breakfast of egg, bread and jam with coffee or tea served at our Elephant Camp Restaurant. |

Commence your 1.5 hour elephant trek experience amidst a stunning and tranquil landscape, and lush rain forest providing a unique experience.

Minivan transfer to Ban Pig Noy ‘village’, which is inhabited by the ‘Yuon’ minority group. |

We start kayaking downstream on the placid Nam Khan River where after a half hour we stop for a lunch break. We continue kayaking along the Nam Khan, passing green hills, and appreciating nature on our way back to Luang Prabang. This kayak trip is perfect for kayak beginners with a few small rapids for those wanting an impression of river kayaking. |
